My name is Paul and I have the pleasure of taking photos of actors on stage, bringing author's words to life. It takes a whole team of people to bring a play to the stage, from the director, sound, lighting, costume, stage design, to the front of house crew and the many ,many long hours of rehearsing . 

I am lucky enough to capture those hours of work ,distilled into that decisive  moment. Hopefully you will enjoy seeing what I have taken.

I live in a popular suburb of Newcastle upon Tyne called Heaton. It is a great place to live with a vibrant high street, many super pubs and restaurants. It is also the home to the People's Theatre, where many of my photos are taken. It has been has been at its current site since 1962, but can trace its beginnings to 1911!

I also work with other companies from South Shields to Seaton Delaval and would love the chance to work with others.
